I have spent soooooooo many hours walking the banks of the North and South Rivers, hoping the canals in search of a similar fish, and have found some nice early spring honey holes, but nothing like he had, in the middle of the day, on I think it was a bright orange popper. I can still picture that episode in my mind clear as day and it drives me insane.
Slip, any way I might be able to get a copy of that clip?
I'll give you a clue, one prime ingredient missing from what we had, it's called adult bunker. I know a spot above a certain bridge and narrows, very popular now, took a friend there about 12 years ago as it was too snotty outside. We hammered 36-40 inch bass on 1 oz spots fished across and down the current. His first striper outing and he landed 3 over 40 inches.
