AquaSkinz

Ok....Although it doesn't feel it, spring is rapidly approaching and and I am getting the itch to get out and fish. So I am looking for the right clothes for the early season.

I am looking to get an AquaSkinz and was looking for some recommendations. Should I go for the Hurricane or Evolution.

Since I am going to be using it all season I was thinking the lighter Evolution maybe the way to go.

Do those of you with Aquaskinz have any suggestions or recommendations?

thanks in advance
-IWK

I have the Hurricane now and it suits me for when I want to use it most and thats when its cold and raw. So early Spring and from September on that's what I'll use. But it would be too much for the summer so I guess I'll just need a lightweight one too

Chris - if you find a generous benefactor. I would like them to buy me one of each.

I am not cheap, but doubt I will be able to justify both.

And beachwalker - no one told me it was rapidly approaching. It was a combination of calendar watching and hopeful wishing. Actually I can't wait much longer - so I am just saying - it is rapidly approaching. By mid-feb I will be saying it is almost here.

Evolution for the warmer months. In a pinch you can use the Evolution in the cold months by layering in fleece.

Make sure you try one on before you buy. Note that the sizing is different between the Evolution and the Hurricane tops.

hi Ben ole pal ole friend .

I have this really serious problem I was hoping you could help me with . ya see the place I work is really trying to get their endowment over 15 Billion . you know they always have to be #1 and they wont pay me enough money and my wife you see she just works for a really cheap insurance company and hasnt the flow to help me out . I dont have any parents ya see and so I cant ask them . I have 3 brothers but one is a homeless guy in NY and is probably frozen , one is in Fla and works in a strip bar for guys and I dont want his dirty cash , and well the youngest just hates my guts for always beating the tar out of him and his friends so he wont even talk to me . christmas has passed and since Im 29 I dont have any more birthdays . and with you being a financial/stock analyst and run the stock market . Ive heard how bullish you are when the bell rings for close of business . oh and dont forget we live on the same planet , on the same continent , in the same country and same state , just different counties with different tax bases . that I could ask you to give to the needy/poor/unstable person that I am an evolution aqua skinz in large/xlarge . so ? how about it ? I have a good imagination and know what your responce is going to be . so I have already done that to myself . now Im begging ya . you would just have a spend a small amount of the fairfield cash you have set a side for charitable donations that you give to at the fund raisers you attend in Greenwich .

I bought an Evolution top late in the season and all I can say is This is an awesome top. I wore it into the beginning of November with a layer of fleece under it and was very comfortable.

I'm still the fool in the rain with a Grundens top. Sweating hard, and my shoulders bound up tight, stiff and sore. Still season after season I go on using the reliable orange.

I have the lighter model. I like it but you do sweat in it. I used it all fall and it worked fine even on the cooler nights. I would like to get the heavier model for those nights where bigger is better.

I hear they are comming out with another model...I may wait until I see it at the show(s). I would rec you buy this is a store unless you know exactly which size fits you...they seem to vary a little between models.
