Well 3 of us spent an hour on the ramp, too many large 2 foot thick chunks to make room for my boat, so we made room for Steve and Jeff. I fished with them all day and man oh man was it cold. I landed a fat football around 6 lbs, which keeps my striper a month string alive going back 4 years, lost another at the boat. Steve hit a nice 15 lber which surprised us, but then one around 6 later, so the few bites we got today were quality. Jeff lost one at the boat, we fought with bergs and ice both around the boat and gear all day. There were times the water frooze to the point your fishing line from the rod tip to the water was a stiff piece of rope. I'm a sick man, but I still feel better for having been out. Please someone make this cold go away, I'm tired of this chit.
