coming west bound from Sanwich end to Bourne.Seems to happen right after RR bridge but more towards MMA where it opens up after the Corp of Engineer station.Thought I might be picking up signals from the the unit on there building.Doesn*t happen all the way up and they have more units. Its the only place it happens. It wouldnt be as big a problem if the 25 bouy had a lite on it like the 27 and 23.Its just that the right side of that channel drops off to like 1--2 feet on the flats there.Havent had it happen from ship but will have to check this out.Wondering if its just my unit or others run into it also.My brother-in law has multiple mono chrome units on a 58 hatteras and another on a smaller 27 WA and he had never seen problem before.Picked up everything coming up canal when we could hardly see the bow and as soon as we got there it went white as usual. The whole screen just turns into big white circle. He had not seen it even when he had the old Decca radar on the hatteras.I dont know if it might also have something to do with this being color radar also. Its kinda unnerving when it happens
