Bassmaster, since i only fish bait, i check the fish to see what color paint is in their teeth, that how i decide what colors to paint my lures.

BA- 3rd one down has caught me

I've been playing with popper weight lately too and i've come to the conclusion that a popper that just about sinks is best. if they are too bouyant, the lure wont look like a natural baitfish, instead most of the lure will sit on top of the water.... just my 10¢

I guess it's all preference but I find a popper that sinks forces you to work it faster which may be suitable in certain situations but not all. I like to have some poppers that are weighted so that the bottom half of the plug is submerged, that way I can work it slow on top (like a wounded rather than a fleeing baitfish) along a jetty or to entice lazy fish to come and get it

Cape Sams those are cheap acrylics that I thin with a solution of water, isopropyl and a bit of dish detergent.

Thanks Guzz, I still owe you a plug, I am slow

TXS...with my luck the water would spill on the floor, the alcahol wouldn't make it in to the paint[burp] an I never get close to soap....very nice paint jobs indeed.

Yeah, Yeah
One of them is yours but you'll have to take it as is since they haven't been tested. Yes, the needle with the mylar stripe down the side. At the rate I build plugs you may have it next fall

I wish I owned those I found it while cruising through SOL's plug building forum.

he's on my "wanna glass needle?" list.

I got a few wood needles on my spinner that I put a lot of love into and when they're dry I'll post a pic. They're beautiful

BM, we'll work out a deal when I get them where I want them. Of course I won't ship any plugs until I receive one from you first

Ray, thanks for the heads up

Hey Eben, that Sylvester when you make one are you going to through wire it or use the eye screws? I just can't get myself to trust eye screws? or the double screw hook holder. Maybe I'm just a scaredie cat.
