Cccccold day, hot bite.
You would have thought that today wasn't going to be a banner day, especially with a howling biting wind and ccccccold windchills. Well color me shocked at how good it was, the wind only preventing it from being outstanding. I'd say 60 fish between us and these beauties is a good day
Drew definately had the hot hand on big fish today with 4 over 8lbs, this one had to push 20 lbs and he had one around 10. I also broke off at least two other slobs, looks like we weren't the only ones ready for the ice to breakup .

I still can't feel my friggen toes. And I can't wipe the smile off my face. Are you kidding me.....catching large in February? Life is good my friends.
And for the kids keeping score at home, that's a 4 1/2" chart split tail Ledgerunner hand made by my good buddy Bob hanging out of that baby's mouth. Accept no substitutes.
