The Surfcaster catalog????

Has anyone received this years catalog yet? I sent them an e-mail from their website and they never replied.

I tried to order 3 items from them about 2 months ago. Never got anything; no e-mail, no phonecall despite they are physically about 10 minutes from my business. After a few weeks I called and the woman said that everything I ordered was not in stock and she doesn't know if they will get them in again. Too bad...it looked like a nice catalog. I would have ordered a bunch of stuff. Let me know if they send you a catalog

From what I've been told, "The Surfcaster" has been sold to new owners. Maybe this is the reason for the no show catalog.

I was wondering where mine was too, checking the mail everyday to see if it had come yet until I heard the news a coupla days ago.

Yup, Bill has packed it in from what I heard - if ya can believe the scuttlebutt - rumor is, they've been bought by....

....also got the catalog...... No wonder they still sent an old one.

Funny, just yesterday I was going thru all my fishing gear catalogs and I was wondering where this years was as well. I noticed that you can order from their web site now. I have always phoned in orders before.

The new owners will not stay in business long not returning e-mails. I guess I need to try a phone order. I guess last years catalog is ok as long as the prics are the same

I agree

I just got an order from them last week and it was still signed Bill and Barbara. I always direct my emails to her and she is pretty good at getting back to me. The thing I hate is 80% of items are always out of stock.
I was also trying to get a longer strap for my Surfcaster bag and I was told it would take 3 months because they order American made and all the junk available is made in China. I also tried getting plug bag inserts and also got the "it will take 3 months" reply.
Nothing good every lasts, does it?
