They are a great lure. VERY effective...BUT...you need to you a big load of them...Blues cut them like hot knife thru butter.

Some of the other companys are quite good as well. Mr. Charlie makes a nice one...it has a hard head and a soft body.

I have trolled the 9" storm with good success and hope to try the 10" Mr. Charlie this season.

From the surf, they cast pretty good and look like a real friggin fish in the water! I find a steady retrive just fast enough to keep near the bottom, you want it to hit the bottom now and again to let you know it is near it.
