New, and new at it...
Played with some scraps for a spell, and now I am ready to give it a go.. ordered some maple for needles, thats what I'm gonna stick to for a while as they are my favorite, and I like 'em to sink... so..... I remembered an old needle I lost, that was hand made, cast real well was heavy in the butt, and had a phat belly, ( I know, weird needle ) So based on what I remembered, here is what I came up with... have not swum it, gonna finish it, then swim it in the pond, when the ice is out.

Karl, you would never get that thing through security at an airport. It looks like the barrel of a small caliper gun.
