Spring training
Today I am starting my vigorous training to get ready for Spring fishing. I'm cutting down to only three snacks before bed, only 1 case o beer a week, and saying my prayers focusing on nabbing big fish and world peace every day. I will be 185 pounds of twisted fish catching steel by Mid April. Anybody else ever do any type of exercising to get there cast and retrieve muscles, along with there beach legs ready?

I usually
I try to cut down on the fast food.
One thing I down up In maine, is chug a beer while Im walking to my spot.
For some reason, I think because the first time I did it I caught a good number of fish that night on mackerel.
I always now stick with it and still do good.

I stopped drinking Beer and switched to vodka in early november and cut down on eating crap and managed to drop 30 pounds. Down to a svelt 245.....Hoping to shift my center of gravity as I took a couple of headers on the rocks from weilding, what I affectionately call, the dependent around.
I realized rock-hopping out-of-shape and overweight is NOT a good idea

My spring tune-up would include long walks, stretching exercises and riding bikes with the kids. Cutting back on the junk food and portions.
You guys in Holyoke area could head up to the Umass area and hit that bike trail. Iv'e never been up there, but hear it's great for biking, blading, running and site seeing

Yeah i do start shortening my nights... try to get up at the same time every day (work time in the summer) so that no matter what I'm waking up then, whether I went to bed at 11 or 2...
I'm trying to cut back on coffee as last fall I had a 2 large a day habit... save that for when I really need it otherwise it's one cup AM, one mid afternoon....

Sence december ive been weight training for a hour, 5 days a week. Gonna start riding my bike or jogging for a half hour, 5 days a week too. Thinking about giving up beer for the month of march so i can drop the gut, maybe increase my chances of reeling in a nice blond out of the employee pool , this summer.

I started walking today and gave up beer before 3 pm. It's amazing how easy it is to do nothing when you have no job.
PS- Mikey, when referring to another person's objects, you spell the word "their" not "there."
"There" describes a location.
As in "Hey Mikey, there's no brain up there!"
HAHAHAHA

Actually, when I first started cooking they used to run pitchers to us when it was busy...What a mess! Fist-fights on the line, etc.
I like the new sober work environments MUCH better!
Hopefully, this unemployment stuff will be finished by this time next week!
Later,
Rick

Never been there but a friend of mine owns it. I've been to his place in Cambridge a couple few times. In fact, the last time I was at the sox, he was sitting two seats away from me.
Chris is an old school CIA guy (not a youngin like me). He hosted a special chef's dinner at the East Coast Grill one time for an old professor of ours...
He, myself, and Jasper ended up drinking a case of bud cans out back before we went in. Boy was it hard going to work the next morning.
Anyhow, his guys work very hard, so it might be worth your while buying them a pitcher the next time you're there.
Later,
Rick

Jasper is an old family friend... when me and my grandma show up at the summer shack, we're treated like royalty... free appitizers, drinks... deserts...
wish I lived closer
