What's the craziest thing you ever did?

Alright, let's see what kind of whackos we got around here. What is the craziest thing you ever did? I once did a front flip over a burning matress. I stuck the landing like Bart Connors but my hair went up like Michael in the Pepsi commercial. It never grew back.

seals + plovers =

I got an endless list but smashing a vcr with a shovel at work was pretty good. Took a huge wack at the vcr and the shovel head flew off and tagged me about a half inch above the eye(almost lost that eye). Another good one was when i was in high school i was all hammered and tried to drive over a golf courses topiary sighn (MCC i think) and i failed to notice the large rock in the middle that i got stuck on, earned me a dwi. I have an endless list of stupide #^&#^&#^&#^&e ive done over the years. My friend peed on the newport police station and got tackled by a cop and charged with public urination.

Or the time at work i poured sterno into a tree hole to kill a yellow jacket nest. I let it burn for about 3 minutes, then poured a bucket of water to put it out and went home. Guess i didnt put it out all the way, next morning i come back and a huge part of the tree burned , took a while before i heard the end of that one.

Craziest or stupidest? Once in the middle of winter in college on a dare I broke two holes in the ice where water had collected in a gully and swam underwater from one hole to the other. The hard part was getting back to the fraternity house since my sweatshirt and overalls froze and I couldn't move. I was like the Tin Woodsman at the beginning of Wizard of Oz and got scared I'd die of frostbite, but a hot shower and more beer got rid of that idea.

It took me a while to build courage but I jumped off the suicide cliffs in Okinawa Japan(110'). I surfaced black n blue and aching pain in the groin. idoit

Jumped off a 30 foot ledge (bolting from the scene of a crime ) Landed on my feet but shatterd my ankle, messed up my knee and sprained every muscle in my back. Was in a wheelchair for awhile. Stupid stuff you do when you're young

how much time ya got? haha. i've done a bunch of stupid #^&#^&#^&#^&-jumped off a hotel roof in philly into a pool, jumped head first through a 7 ft. bon-fire(still got my charred jacket), smashed 72 mailboxes in high school(i know,#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& thing to do, got arrested for it tho) and a bunch of other crap that wouldn't be appropriate(followed a band a round for a while, stayed in a bunch of hotels, got in a bunch of trouble). i'm still young, but im happy to say those days are behind me. don't even drink anymore really. i've done enough partying that i'll prob be paying for it down the line, but i had a great adolescence! now its all about surf baby!!

One of the more crazy, but stupid things I've done. While in college got extremely intoxicated and removed all signage for a half mile stretch of a construction zone. Got picked up by the local PD. (This was a short time after some kids had removed a stop sign I believe this happened down in florida and some folks didn't stop at an intersection because the sign was removed and some poeple got killed.) Well they gave me an earful about the dangers involved and what could have happened if someone didn't realize the construction zone and hit something, blah, blah ,blah. Anyways some rookie cop charges me with larceny. Which I felt was way out of line because the signs were still there, they had just been removed. Well the modern wonder called the internet now has many of the states laws posted. So I do a little research and contact the local DA. They reduce my charge to tampering with street signs a class E misdemeanor, pretty much the equivalent of a speeding ticket. I had my day in court. $100 fine plus court costs. A lot better than the $500 dollar fine and up to 6 months in the klink that comes along with a larceny charge.

...

may 2002 me and a few of my buddies were out drinking for a little bit and then we decided to go four wheeling out at this place called the radio towers, we did that for a little then it got boring so we left. My buddy Jeff decides that were gonna go egg some cars so me being an idiot I go along with it, we hit a couple houses and some cars and then its my turn. I see a pontiac boneville coming my way so I launch one, goes right in the window and hits whoever right in the shoulder, it felt like such a sweet throw for some reason, it was perfect. The dude slams on his brakes and turns around and starts chasing us, hes keeps flashing this flashlight at us, and he eventually catches up to us, because the driver couldnt drive his jeep if his life depended on it.

Anyways it turns out this guy was a cop on his way to work, he comes up and pulls his gun out of the holster and throws it in the road and tells all 4 of us to get out and he will kick both are asses. He asks who did it and I admit to it. Trust me if I knew this guy was a cop I never would of done it.

Anyways I ended up getting arrested went to court, luckly I had a good lawyer and I walked away clean. I see the guy every once and while and he talks to me so I guess its not that bad.

Squeezed by old 15 foot boat under the black falcon pier in the reserve channel in boston harbor. Had two buddies with me. (Of course there was drinking involved) I drove down to the very end, turned around and gunned it. Had about 10" clearance on both sides with pilons on one side and a concrete wall on the other. Flew through there at 30 mph. It is probably 300-500 feet long. Then we realized now that the boat is a full and higher out of the water, the drain pipes going across overhead are much closer to us. Had to duck under the windshield as the pipes missed the top of the sheild by inches. meanwhile I can't see a thing, sit up again try to keep it straight or hit the pilons, then duck again or be decapitated. That would have been hard to explain.
Luckily, I lived to tell you guys about it.

I was a tomboy and I used to have a 4-wheeler Kawisaki Tecati 250 well me and a few buddies and one other girl went riding in the Suet basin and you had to cross 2 sets of railroad tracks, well me being the brainiac of the group decided I was going to ride my bike over the tracks...*note* there is a steep hill on the other side of the tracks* I got over the first set and I have no clue what happened after that...I must have got up some speed and launched over the second set, *the guys said I looked like a pro* and there I was sitting on the steep hill facing down my foot is caught under the rear axle and i have a death grip on the hand break, still wondering what the hell just happend

*note* the guys always told me whatever happens always keep your bike running*

as I was sitting there, my buddies came running down the hill and lifted the bike off my foot and proceeded to tell me that, that was the most awesomist thing they have ever seen....I looked at them and said "look my bike is still running"

After that I cleaned out my underwear

They told me that I lauched about 10 feet into the air...I still wonder how the hell I did it

I was a nut on my 4wheeler....I was dared to cross a river to go to this lil island and ofcourse ...I did...and didnt sink

I have many more stories, but that one is still fresh in my mind...

I troll 9er rigs in Black Falcon terminal early fall (sept- oct) a lot!
Went through there the week after 9/11 bombing.
The Coast guard didn't appreciate it.
They have some cool looking boats with big machine guns mounted on them!!!
Not sure how close they can to shooting at me!!!

Cool always the kool kid

crazzzzy ass shiznital..hmm.....ok...prob the dumbest thing i ever did was when i was working for my future wife's father who was a logger. I got a chainsaw bound in a huge oak limb that was bent at a crazy angle. lots and lots of pressure on this frickin thing. so instead of going and getting the skidder, and moving the limb a little to free up the stuck saw, i grabbed the biggest f-ing saw that we used for dropping big timber , and proceeded to "cut my way outta the bind" SNAP!!! limb snapped back at me, knocked me off my feet, the saw that was still screaming outta my hands...(which cut the other "brand new, like just picked it up that morning saw") and watched gravity bring that chainsaw back towards my head. it missed me by bout 1 ft......maybe not carzy,,,,but it cured me for stupidity for about two hrs!

hmmmm...beeerrr
screaming drag = happiness

Thumbs up

Eben!

I guess we are gonna have to do it again huh?

Craziest things I have done? This is just one of the highlights of my teen years!

Lets see? Back when I was a junior in highschool myself and a bunch of buddies decide we are going to see how long it will take to fill up the back of a pickup truck with pumpkins from peoples steps around Halloween time. Well we have it 3/4's full and see a house with 6 pumpkins on the step. Three of us get out and sneak to the steps and grab and run. We hear the door open and a gun cock and boom a shot into the air! We hear the owner say"You son's a bitches !!". We run to the truck jump in and take off . Now we are heading down a well traveled road in N. Scituate and see police lights about a mile behind us so we start getting rid of the evidence!!Bad thing to do!! We all ended up getting tickets for littering and to boot we had to go back and clean up the entire mess for 3 miles with the cop's shining their halogen spotlight into the woods to make sure we cleaned it all!
Things you will do for excitement when your young!!

Tossing pumpkins brings back memories. Used to have half days for work study. No work so we went to my friends aunts resaurant for lunch, she gives us a pumpkin as were leaving. On the way back to her house in her convertable, we decide it would be a good idea to toss it in a cops driveway(hes the chief now). AS we come around the corner i hurl it, just as it leaves my fingers i see the chief in his driveway crouching down the oppisite way, too late its goin. She guns it as it smashes about 5 feet from him. We fly to her house and park in the garage, watching from her window as the cop drove around the neiborhood for an hour. The stupi shiznit you do when your young and dumb.

my problem is i have dear impressionable family members who watch every post.. if i posted some of the crazy or stupid things i have done i'd be afraid they would either imitate or possibly lose what little respect they have for me now.

lots to list here too, but here's one...

I grew up along the Farmington River in northwestern CT and there is a stretch of River called the Tarrifville Gorge. It is a good run of rapids and during the summer we would spend all day tubing down the rapids and swimming. Well in the Spring when the water is really high, they hold competitons and tryouts for the olympic Kayak team and it draws people from all over the country. We'll a few buddies and I (the locals) decide we are going to show them who owns the river. We make a raft of about ten inner tubes tied together and decide that we are going to run the rapids. We ran through the gorge almost taking out a few yakers along the way. We make it through the gorge and then to a place called the dam, where white rushes through a partially worn through dam. It is white water city. We take our makeshift raft through it and flip over. Frog men, who were in the water trying to keep us from ruining the event, are now on a search and rescue misssion. I surfaced after being underwater for what seemed like forever and climbed onto a rock. My buddies came up down river a few hundred yards, all ok. We didn't get arrested, but we got an ear full....

I got many more....
