It was from My Texas trip

That fish is actually a speckled sea trout which is a very close cousin of the weakfish. They were very selective feeders and were feeding heavily if not exclusively on big shrimp when I was down there. The place I was staying had 2 lights on the bottom of the channel and the neighbors had 3 huge hallide lights pointing down at the water(like at the ocean mist)

the lights would attract the shrimp and the trout and redfish would be there to eat the shrimp. I caught a bunch on plastics and wanted to catch at least one on my wooden plugs, but Tattoo's swimmer was the perfect size. I carefully bent the lip straight down and slightly back so the lure would jump out of the water like the shrimp were doing and managed to catch the trout above.. If that plug was pink or pearl....... fugetaboutit.
