Squeezed by old 15 foot boat under the black falcon pier in the reserve channel in boston harbor. Had two buddies with me. (Of course there was drinking involved) I drove down to the very end, turned around and gunned it. Had about 10" clearance on both sides with pilons on one side and a concrete wall on the other. Flew through there at 30 mph. It is probably 300-500 feet long. Then we realized now that the boat is a full and higher out of the water, the drain pipes going across overhead are much closer to us. Had to duck under the windshield as the pipes missed the top of the sheild by inches. meanwhile I can't see a thing, sit up again try to keep it straight or hit the pilons, then duck again or be decapitated. That would have been hard to explain.
Luckily, I lived to tell you guys about it.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
