OK - Cod Trip thread #3

OK.....I am IN!!! I weasled the day off!!!!! But I will be solo (hubby gone for two weeks and when he comes back hes going hunting.....

Now since I have never done this before I am a little confused as to what I need jig wise......do I absolutely need to have one or is what they provide enough????? (like schoolie said about the $$ in the other thread I really dont care for spending TOO much just to fish for a day travel...gear ...etc.....right now isnt a great time for that ) but if its necessary.......I really have no clue! I really want to try it out to see what its like and the other part says...."you have NO CLUE what youre doin girl".....!!!!

and my other question is about getting there....OK....I figure 495.......and I can get to RT3......but where about on RT3 are we talking here????
