Wood is good. Tin is in.

So are eels

And I hear somebody is about to reintroduce a line of real Rhody Classics that haven't been seen in a while around these parts .

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

I'm using from Shore,

1. Live eels
2. squid
3. habs plugs.... different colors...

From the Kayak:

1 T&W (90% of the time) bubblegum colored
2 Live eel / rigged eel skins (learned that one here on the net...
3 Deadly #^&#^&#^&#^&s

I'm looking for a mold to pour my own "tin" eel squids, so I can rig skinny eels for trolling and casting.
