More Rome Point Pics
This picture is a study in:
- Tidal river outlet
- Narrow choke point at a bend
- Deepest drop off on bank
- Deepest water is off camera, just to the right
- And one heck of a day for December 3, 2001

You would need to hang on after you saw a little shower of silvery bits suspended just below the surface ... Now based on last year, you might even be able to do that as early as the end of the first week of May... Last year I had similar results from a spot a bit northwest of there starting around the 8th of May.
Similar place with: - Tidal river outlet
- Narrow choke point at a bend
- Deepest drop off on bank
- Deepest water is off right at my feet

Tattoo,
If you put a herring "back into the run" you just might find something with stripes waiting.

Funny how that happens!
Know any other spots that might work like this?

My spot would look an awful lot like that if you were facing ENE and the water would be just a tad less blue. If you changed the houses across the mouth and cut down some trees and added one prominent object...
Where am I FISH_EYE (it's an easy one)... OK - it's not my spot as I've only fished it 6 or 7 times but.... Clammdiger - ssshhhhhh

Bloocrab,
Now that's the way I remember fishing Rome Point. Unlike Tattoo, who has already quit his day job, you should be making money with your talent. I'm not talking about becoming a commercial tog fisherman either.

Gadwall8,
Feel free to use an image as wallpaper if you would like...but consider buying a Laptew Production video as a present for yourself...you won't be sorry.

...I try ...
...Thanks Mike, coming from an artist like yourself... your compliments mean a lot ...
..can't wait to try out the " soft - ware " though....
...where did bloo come from ? I've hunted the "blue" crab for many years... and grew a " Love " for them...catching ...eating...and even releasing them...
..they simply amaze me, they are smart, cunning and Extremely quick for a crab...they have a prehistoric appeal .......I aquariumized ( my own word ) one once...just to see him in action...thats when the LOVE came in ...LOVE as in "pet" love...he was released in time for the migration...but watching him feed on the live mummies and snappas and the umm.... $$exotic fish that I HAD... was AWESOME!!!
...and NO, I didn't mix my mummies with my butterflys...or clowns...but I did get a little crazy that day
..so who's lookin for a graphic artist anyway ?
