Back Grumpage

Going in for back surgery in a couple weeks. I hope I'm doing the right thing but I've had enough. I've been out of work for over 8 months now, had several shots, therapy, chiropractor, etc., etc. Say a prayer for me guys that it all goes well. I'm pretty scared but I have to give it a shot since nothing else works, I know it's bad when I have a hard time fishing. Wish I could have fished the legs but maybe I'll make the second half.

Good luck, I know how you feel. I went through all the same treatments.

I had a herniated disc and got an operation in 99'.

Got to the point that I could barely walk before I had it done.

Again good luck.

I have had 3, ya 3 lamenectomies at L4-5 and this was 20 plus years ago knock on wood no problems I am now 49, have faith in your neuro surgeon and stay in shape and don't go to fast with the rehab listen to your body walking is great on level ground the numbness in leg or foot will go away in time.
my first disc ruptured @ 18 yr old in bed for 8 months then the story goes from there.
new technology and time to heal you'll be fine good luck !!!
and don't forget to tell the dr. that put's you to sleep to give the sleep syrup SLOW it's the best part of the whole thing
