The one on the left appears to be a Chain Pickerel, on the right possibly a Pike but probably another Pickerel.

Wow that is very cool. What are the odds of a fish liveing long enough to get that size, then think about the odds for one like that to do it.

IT'S A FAKE
IF YOU LOOK AT THE LOWER JAW, JUST ABOVE THE STRING, YOU CAN SEE WHERE EITHER THE PICTURE WAS SPLICED, OR THE SECOND FISH WAS SLICED AND SPLIED TO THE LARGER FIHES HEAD.
NOTICE THAT THE FISH ON THE LEFT IS SIDEWAYS, WHILE THE ONE ON THE RIGHT IS UPRIGHT? IF THIS WERE A TRUE FISH, IT WOULD HAVE STARVED TO DEATH AS A MINNOW.

Ive seen that picture before, and it was BEFORE the internet even existed (ie. before www. ), and before photoshop.
I cant swear to it, but im sure I saw it a while back, so i dont think it is a fake. Im guessing around '90-92 ? that pic was taken.

I agree with Tim... it would have starved to death as a minnow.
