The Thames River starts in Norwich Harbor (downtown Norwich CT) and ends in New London, empties right at the Race in the Sound.

There has been a great winter fishery there for many years. There was a post recently by a Charter Captain, he and a client tagged and released over 70 fish.

There is a launch right at the harbor. However, there is very little parking there.
