Talk about denial....
Sadam and Ben Laden were conspiring to subvert the government of Saudi Arabia (and outright take over Kuait), disrupt the world's oil supplies send the world economy into depression.
WMD's are in Syria and N. Korea. Sadam's use of them is well documented. As late as 1999 Al Queda was being trained in facilites south of Bagdad on the use of Sarin nerve gas. First likely practice targets were Turkey and Russia, then the U.S.
Though Sadam's program to build nuclear weapons was for the most part destroyed by the Clinton missle strikes, he was poised to rebuild it.
Radical muslums, i.e. Al Queda et al, have categorically stated that they will accept no less than a fundamentalist Islamic world government. They will brutalize innocent men, women, and children until they have achieved this objective. Their actions confirm their words. The irony of this is that they point to the decadent western lifestyle as justification for these actions. Hello.. hollywood!!!
