dug this from my bennett manual:

Trim tabs operate in reverse of what you might think. The port tab lifs the port stern which lowres the stbd. bow. Conversly, the stbd. trim tab lifts the stbd. stern which lowers the port bow. With properly installed trim tabs you will not be aware of this reverse function as the control function is based on the direction you wish to move the bow.

right switch top - right bow down - port tab goes down pushes port stern up and stbd. bow down.

same for left - upper position for port bow down command - stbd. tab actuates.

just the reverse for the two lower positions.
