Saturday - babysit my father-in-law while the women go shopping (take the man to the golf store, out for beers, and then to the meadowlands to play the ponies)
Sunday - gonna try to sneak out for a little fluking, otherwise I'll work on my honey-do list

I'm "slip sitting" in Milford (CT.) for a couple weeks while my pal's boat is in Montauk.
So, I'm buggin outta here in about an hour, gonna go flukin first then scout down some bunker schools in the evening.
ALL BY MYSELF
A good way to end a hectic week.

Gonna work on the promise I made to myself to fish at night more frequently. Going to fish my harbor-hole at slack low and incoming tonight at Midnight and then hit the Magnolia Rocks in the pre-dawn dark.
After all, how important is sleep anyway?

Packing and cleaning, moving on Thursday.
Also working, working working in the down time
Don't feel bad about the wedding Larry, I've got three more this summer, and one is an uncle to uncle wedding in Ptown, won't even have time to fish or go out on their boat.
That one's very tough to handle...
We'll see how long Mikey makes it at that one, guessing he'll sneak out for a cigarette and never come back.
Later Guys, Good Luck,
Rick

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

I should lay low and give the back a rest, but I've got a crew coming tomorrow and I'lll just stand up when the large are hooked up . I just hope the wind forecast is correct, at least the seas will not be too bad tomorrow.
