I know a lot of guys who hate the NW here too. I've had awful days on the NW and I've caught nice fish with the NW. You just have to go. SW is always a good wind but I'll tell you what the wind has been SW alot this season and I have'nt done #^&#^&#^&#^&. Nights I thought I would slam 'em, I had nadda. I caught my biggest fish this year on a N/NW wind and that was in South County. A friend just got a 40#er on the North wind. My biggest fish came on a SW wind that was blowing 30. You just have to fish when you can
