Lightbulb

That's the smallest reel offered. I'd pair it up with a 7-8 foot stick loaded with 14 lb. test Berkley Fireline.

This would be ideal for light tackle - small swimmers, tins, and jigs. I wouldn't go any heavier than 1.5 oz on the lures.

Might as well go all out and get an Ara XRA 96. Think they are discontinued but still a few in the field.

First week of August a big box should show up at the Saltwater Edge containing 20+ spin reels plus a few fly reels.

A silver 250 is mine , and a few others have deposits on them, but other then that there should be a bunch left for close inspection and/or purchase. All sizes and colors.

New prices too---all sizes up just about $100 from the last Reel Ventures run of reels

They're at the point where they're close to double what I paid for mine

Catcho,
Look for a Lami JH81MS. It's a 8ft - 1 piece spinner rated from 1/2 - 2 oz. Picked one up for $89.00 . Such a bargain.

WOW, the price went up? I guess they figure with the Saltigas and Stellas encroaching in big $$ they have to step it up a notch. I can't wait to see these reels.

I say, if we could get a Penn 706Z with a great anti-reverse, we would be in good shape!

Yeah, prices have gone up a bit. They're just expensive to make I think.

I guess we can't really hold it against them, if they were making money before maybe they wouldn't have been sold to Zebco.
