Bigcat, that spectrum stuff is better for conventional reels, I wouldn't use it on a spinner.
Karl, you'd love the fireline, it gets a bit fuzzy but maybe that new fireline XDS stuff is better but that stuff is also more money.
I think FWW is right about the part getting weakened, the heat from the friction will weaken the line.
