I just had an eeling stick built on the XRA 1205 and love it. The 1201L might be my second choice and I still might have a spinner done on that blank. Both are 10'...

From what I read...bang for the buck in 9' is the batson 1088 and many mentions of the glass 1083. In the 10 footers the 1201L and the xra 1024 are loved as is the 1205 for a bit more beef.

I think the deciding factors are where you fish and how much do you want to spend...
