I find that the wire is a pain with tube and worm, the tube is not heavy and offers little resistance in the water just seems to be a pain trying to let it out. I have been fishing Cape Cod Bay last 2 trip out and have been dropping 5-7 colors in 80' of water and the other day I caught a dog so I know I was down near or on the bottom. I have also been using 2 5 gallon buckets to get a really sloooooow troooollll
