Peanuts everywhere!

The Sakonnet River is absolutely loaded with them.Nice to see some bait around.Fished tonight with school upon school around me.

Broke off a nice bass tonight.Unfortunately he took one of my yellow Bombers with him .Lotsa a small blues feeding on the bait too.

Lets see what the weekend brings.

TONS of them in the upper bay also were i was this morning. Great to see that much bait around. The Blues were loving it also!! God I love having the fly rod in my hand when the fish are busting bait tight to the shore! Dont usually start seeing Peanuts until later in August up here either....So things are looking promising

There's bait out front, too - I was there tonite, just couldn't get a good look at it with the white water - the bass and blues were pretty active blasting Bernzy's pogie pattern Surf Howdy -

Heh heh heh - little baby pogies.....it's party time

I'll be hitting the party too, if the mung doesn't cramp my style.
