Brady (mr. MVP) did nothing. He looked awful the whole game. Remember, he was about 9 of 18 for 90 yards prior to that last drive. Part of that was playing a conservative defensive game with the lead, but you still have to make plays and he did not.

And let's look at this "miracle" at the end. He completed 3 straight dump offs underneath a prevent defense. The only time they rushed, he threw a pass that should have easily been called intentional grounding as he was clearly not outside of the tackle and threw the ball to avoid a sack... and that would have led to overtime.

The pass to Troy Brown was clutch and that was the only real play he made on that drive.

I give him credit for being cool enough to not panic, but let's not overstate that drive. It only seemed like a miracle 'cause the offense had given no indication that it was possible.

That being said, once you name your starter, I think you have to stick with him. And based on the score and the flow of the game, I think they made the right decision. I had no visions that Brady would do something to cost them the game. They rode their defense and special teams which played as good as a postseason as I've ever seen. The team scored 3 offensive touchdowns in 3 games. That is in itself, incredible and a testament to that coaching staff.

If the score would have been different and Brady was as ineffective as he was... then yes, Bledsoe probably should've come in. I felt bad for Drew, but I also felt that the fact that he was able to lead them to a victory in Pittsburgh and save the season at least probably made him feel that he contributed to a Super Bowl season. Tough situation for everyone, but I thought Coach Bill, Brady and especially, Drew handled it as well as they could.

Drew could have easily been a jerk and it would have divided that team as it always does. And they won as a team, so you do the math. A locker room split and you don't win that super bowl... I doubt they even make the playoffs.

I'm not a Drew guy, I'm not even a Pats fan. But, I think they want a Trent Dilfer type, no mistake guy and Brady can be that guy for alot less than $8Million... and Brady is young and has an upside.

Hopefully, Drew will land in a good situation and everyone will be happy.
