Fishing with Clammer
Went out to the Block with Clammer last week. although the bite was not on at all. We had a good time. I was able to discover what Clammer means by up close and tight. We were slinging eels under the North East Light house. Clammer suggest we go righ into the middle of a boulder field. Off we go I hook-up one my fist cast and while wacthing the line spool and waiting to set the hook. I decide I have waited long enough as current has pushed the boat about 3 feet from breaking surf over this boulder. So I close the bail reel and gun it out of the way and of course the striper is long gone. Clammer looks at me and says that Surfrunner would have got a few dings but the fish would have been in the boat. Now that is hard core!!!!

...yeah, he once told me...
"when your boat hits a rock, it'll bounce right off it".... sometimes ......he almost had us beached, but there wasn't any sand in sight.

Why do you think I wear an inflateable at 2 fishing locales? Beavertail and Clammer's boat
The first hint for ya should have been that thread about the leaky boat last week in the boating section

I missed this post =had a great time // Duke we wern,t even close [ ]
I have fear that the @#$%^& BLOOOOOOOOOOOOfish will get me /////////////////
talk about no fear & no sense //I was at PJ late today /had rods just incase ////watched the surfers on the inside of the harbor of refuge //they were having fun//// Watched the ones at the light //dumb #$%^& ,watched two get tired, one kept trying to paddle back to the light ,so [[[she]] wouldn,t have to walk so far ,The other was just beat =there was nothing anyone could do but watch, the girl finally washed ashore right in front of us /// thrown around the rocks & because of surfing //bare feet //
then there was an other nit-wit///who was trying to fish at the elbow of the East wall //#$%^&* waves were going right over the jetty & into the harbor ,the guy next to me called the Narragansett police //we didn,t see him for a while/ then up on the rocks he, is ==============& findly makes to his car ///clueless/// and no he was not a Striper fisherman////
