Lets see, I don't think Bledsoe got a raw deal. If you expect a team to win a world championship, you go with the guy who is getting the job done. If you look at Bledsoes stats they were worse in his first season than Brady's are.

G GS ATT CMP PCS YDS TD INT RATING
Bledsoe 13 12 429 214 49.9 2494 15 15 65.0
Brady 15 14 413 264 63.9 2843 18 12 86.5

If you look at Bledsoe stats for the next years, he only had 3 good years where he threw more td than interceptions, and in those 3 years he had ratings of 83.7 in 1996 with 59.9 percent complete passes, in 1997 87.7 , with 60.2 percent complete passes, in 1998 80.9 rating with 54.7 complete passes. The rest of his career he had 5 seasons in which he threw as many or more interception as td. 1993 15td, 15 int. 1994 25 td, 27 int. 1995 13td, 16int. 1999 19td, 21int. 2001 2td, 2int. He has never had a higher passing percentage than 60.6 percent. Yard stats don't really count, because if you have really good receivers which Bledsoe did many years, they get the extra yards for you.

Bledsoe was'nt even a proven QB until his 4th season, before that he was below avg to avg at best.

You can make all kinds of arguments about "pass protection" the fact is even when he had good pass protection in the Pitt game he made rookie mistakes, took to long in the pocket, and too long to hike the ball causing false start penalties.

As far as Bledsoe having an arm, Brady has out thrown Patten a couple of times in the playoffs, one was 60 or so yards. So he also has an arm. Charlie Weis was quoted on WEEI as saying that Brady and Drew are using the same playbook, one is just reading the field better than the other.

Lets give the Brady Bledsoe thing a rest it's over Brady is the guy. I hope that Drew fits in somewhere else because he is a good quarterback. He just does'nt fit this style of offense.

Sorry for the rant, of if I offended someine.
