What Karl said - - it's been tough from the rocks but the boat guys have had the upper hand so far....

Yeah, this year has definitely been below average - I have had a few good nites - and days - but boy, this season has been a whole lot like work, having to move around a lot and the scarcity of bigger bait - along with the fact that everything seemed to be a coupla weeks behind in showing up - has had pods moving in and out in short order. Unless ya count bloooofish....

July and August absolutely blew and it's been good in the past 4 or 5 years for me.....

Oh yeah...location....

Mostly Southern New England

Hey, WeeWee - sorry I missed ya, talked to Clamma Saturday (I think it was) but I was tied up - and it was also a case of no news is...well...no news

But it ain't over 'til it's over - hopefully we'll pull some kinda year outta this yet...

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
