Well last time I checked football was a team sport. The Patriots capitalized on this concept and rode it to a Super Bowl Championship.
Who should have been the SB MVP ... there certainly were a lot of candidates. Maybe they should have just given it to the TEAM!!
Who is the better QB?? Well Drew has the stronger arm and I think is more accurate. I think that Brady makes the better descisions. Brady seems to be better in the 3 step drop scheme of things.
Drew was at his best when Parcell's was at the helm. Parcells limited Drew's role and tried to keep him out of situations where he HAD to win the game. They had an excellent line at that time and a great back in Curtis Martin.
Even the greatest QB of recent time - Marino - never won a SB ring. Why? A defense can always stop one man or bend and contain him ... But its tough to stop a complete team where everyone contributes.
Should Drew have been given some snaps during the SB game. NO! They were in a dogfight and couldn't afford the risk.
Say what you may, Brady was at the helm as the rode to a SB championship. You can't do much better than that.
Why did he win the SB MVP award?? It seems like a given that the QB on the winning team wins it most of the time. The media always gives the QB more credit than they probably deserve when a team wins and more balme than they deswrve when they lose.
Football is a team game and the team is no stronger than its weakest player.
