Just got back from the awards shin-dig.
Saw BP collect his award...well deserved..congrats 
I plan on doing the fly rod thing a little more serious next year I had a good time playing around with them on fly rods this year.
Ran into Beetle.
I won a raffle that had was a tackle box full of stuff and a few rigs tied by Jules!...That made my derby!!! thanks Jules!
My kids won a few things. rods reels fishn stuff.
What was great was who won the boat...the guy who caught the FIRST FISH (albie) weighed in at 8:01am on the first day of the contest OFF THE EDGARTOWN WHARF (near chappy ferry) Guess what...it was on the first cast of his derby!...unreal.
Also the shore bluefish was beat in the last minutes of the derby of all places.. in OB HARBOR!! probably 100' from where I keep my boat. 15# and change.
looking forward to the 60th derby already....
