Canal or South County?
I havent been to either in a couple weeks and was wondering what would be better for tomorrow. They are the same distance away. Last year the ditch was loaded with fish at this time but a couple weeks ago it was real slow going for me, granted the tide was running real slow. I usually just get on the pike and make the decision when i get near 146, not much science behind my decisions.

I fished South County this early am and with yesterdays South Gale the water everywhere I went was very dirty and alot of weed. I did salvage the trip up inside Narragansett Bay with some small blues in the coves.

We tried to get the boat out today on the bay and Monomoy but it was about 4-6ft seas. So we stopped by the canal on the way home and didn't see any bait or fish. Wind was up around 25 knts so that could have been a problem.

Striprman, how about togs? I am thinking about catching togs on the canal soon. Does a night or day matter to togs? The slack tide is at west around 9 PM and 11 PM on the east. I am going to hit the west, but is it best to fish at day or either?
