Oh...now I gotta run out and pick it up! I have been waiting for it to come out!  He was so happy that day as was I! June at the Race....he landed his first surf keeper on a 2 oz. crippled herring all by himself! It was one of those great moments I will never forget.....very proud of my boys always!
As I recall that two week stretch we were down there I could not catch a cold....but he got a keeper!  |
Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Eben...that is my youngest son, he will be 11 in February....my oldest will be 12 next week! They are the best! We have alot of fun. Started them fishing about 2 1/2 years old for sunfish, largemouth and catfish.....then one day they saw a striper swim up to them on the beach and wanted to try fishing for them so we did! They both caught their first striped ones before I ever did! |

My son got his first keeper at the same age!! And was also in the fisherman!! But it was a boat fish, and I had to lift it over the side for him but he did the rest!!
Was a great day for all!! And I think every realtive has a copy of it also!
Way to go!
