Tough Love

It's been fun breaking bawlz all year with you guys, but next year, there's got to be some changes made by the Sox...for the sake of you guys:

1. Shower, shave and brushed teeth will be required of players on game day. The "un-Yankee" thing isn't working out too well.

2. Tailored uniforms must be worn...no more baggy, derelict looking rags. The refugee from Bosnia look is out.

3. Batting helmets will be kept freshly painted. You don't look tough in a scuffed up helmet.

4. Team doctor is not allowed to speak on TV about "injuries".

5. April and May victories against NY will not be celebrated like World Series victories.

6. Ditto for winning a wild card berth.

7. Trash talking by the players will be stifled until the Sox accomplish something. NOTHING matters anymore except total victory. It is no longer cute that the Sox haven't won since 1918.

8. If a pitcher pitches and loses, the injury excuse is not permitted. If you're hurt that bad, sit. "He's a gamer" means nothing.

9. No more talk about "this is the year" until it happens.

I have seen plenty of Yankee success, so I sincerely hope your guys do it one day so you can experience the pleasure.
Then again, there's still four games left.

28 Sounds like Gary Scheffield needs to learn some mouth control as well
. Trash talking by the players will be stifled until the Sox accomplish something. NOTHING matters anymore except total victory. It is no longer cute that the Sox haven't won since 1918.

His comments just may motivate this Red Sox team to continue there wins in game 6&7

You forgot to mention extra classy karate chops by the best paid player in the game as method to get on base.

But if he didn't do it he still would have been out, But Jeter would have been at second instead of put back on 1st. Wasn't to smart on Gay-Rods part.

As each day progresses the Yankee fans in my department havegotten quieter and quieter and today you could hear a pin drop. They won't even make eye contact or walk by my office. Well there's one in denial who can't admit Belhorn's homerun and emphatically deines ARod intentionally tried to knock the ball out of Arroyo's glove. (I swear, he won't admit it). I calmly told him he's such a diehard fan I hope someday he gets a job with them....that the Yankee organization could really use a guy who doesn't mind coming out of Steinbrenner's office everyday with rug burns on his knees.
Proud to root for a team that plays hard and fair, with guys who play with simple with heart and determination who don't mind getting dirty and know how to blouse their pants like real baseball players. Proud to be a Red Sox fan in NJ.

You heard it here first, expect A-Rod to suffer some form of retribution in retaliation for his lame kung-fu attempt at getting on base.
