I never have any luck in North winds down there. I am heading down to Narr. tomorrow night, I'll give it hell but I'm not too confident.

Its funny, i live bout an hour and a half away from SoCo and i only head down when there is a N or NE wind. I will go with other winds but that is what i look for down there. I seem to catch a lot more with the northerly blow. Was down tuesday with a mighty wind and i got a lot of bass, nothing big but lottsa fun. And for the first time since i was a kid i actually saw some what appeared to be adult pogies.

Everything is better on the rocks.

ROb, in the places I fish, if the wind is from the North, its an offshore wind and shuts down the fishing. There are spots I hit when its north but with the SW wind it usually sets up good conditions with an onshore wind.
Maybe I need to explore more....

There are fish around but this fall totally sucks compared to those past.Have yet to see any blitzing bass anywhere around the island other than some very minor stuff.

Very tough fishing in narragansett tonight. Most places I looked at were unfishable, but the tally for the night was 4 fish in the 20's I kept one and it had a baby lobster in its belly

I feel really bad for the guys at the block. Hopefully they are cuddling in front of a fireplace

big surf...very dangerous. But its time for the bike ride and you might get away with it. you'll be somewhat out of the wind, but the waves might make it unfishable.

Went out for blackfish this morning in Little Compton. Surf was huge at low tide and only got bigger...too rough for blackfish so we plugged a bit but it was dead...
