Hi JustPlugIt,
That is a custom Stanley plug in one quart size, when the coffee sloshes around it gives a unique action given by no other plug. It's still in use today, over thirty years... guess I got my $ wourth eh? The reels in the photo that look a little blue are those old green Penn 704's, I still have one, the second I put on e-bay, might get enough for a few new plugs at the PlugFeast.
