I think the mention of catching fish at the narrow river by boat caused such a stir because the mouth is about 75 feet wide, so while just mentioning the river, your mentioning a 75 square foot radius.

John R, (the head cheeze here) suggests mentioning very vague areas, like the coast of narragansett, or the upper bay, or perhaps, the south county beaches... The narrow river is a tricky one though because it is such a pinpoint spot. If you have a scanner, i would love to see those photos of your great grandfather. I fish those rocks all the time.

Posting a very fresh report really does impact a spot. Some of us have learned the hardway about this(I did last fall) For instance, as of now, 587 people have read your thread you posted the other day... if 10% of the people decided to go down there and fish the place it would be a zoo.
