FWW always makes it a point to mention that he likes MONO for baitfishing - I've read it enough times to remember that.
People tell me and I've read of folks catching keeper size plus cod from shore, but I haven't experienced it. Then again I've never tried from shore. I've sea duck hunted many a COLD Jan & Feb so it can't be any worse than THAT! :P
