steelhead Registered User Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: North shore Posts: 1,247	They seem to have poplar, oak and that weird ramin stuff where I live. The grain is pretty inconsistent. I pick thru an entire stock to get a few lengths that I'm happy with. I use mostly the poplar. AC Moore has some stuff that you can pick thru. Look for the good tight grain.
