Glad to hear John R got a good fish at Watch Hill. Hope you got a pic John! A kayak is what we needed Sat at sunset Erik. fish were everywhere but with no surf at all to drive things in , we just watched them 3 casts out all afternoon. There were definitely some big stripers in the schools we saw. Big , BIG splashes periodically. I hate when you can see a million bass feeding but can't get to them.
Fishpart is right , we've fished several times but never when the sun was up. I love the beach in the fall. Fish or not its a great way to spend a day.
I hope to do the canal this week but then its all RI fishing till the end of Nov. I hope John put a flourescent x on that rock where he was standing when he got the twenty!
