My saltwater season is winding down too. I'm heading to Ontario saturday morning and won't return until next saturday... unless the fishing is really good in which case I'll be back sunday.

In any event, I'll probably only have a couple more shots at stripers as the run winds down.

This was a pretty good year. Though I've been fishing my whole life, this was only my third year of serious saltwater fishing and I learned a heck of alot. I was able to put in alot of time and had a blast.

I'm already thinkin' about next season as I'll have the added versatility of a 16' fishing boat... I won't be chasin' bluefin or anything, but I'll be able to chase fish in the harbor. I've also been really good this year, so Santa will likely be getting me a whole bunch of new gear over the winter

But I get ahead of myself... I have a whole week of bass fishing (freshwater) right in front of me, and I gots ta check out that winter fishery down on the Thames Rivah, CT...

So, my season may never end!
