There are some fish still being taken in the canal at the east end around Pips. Only a few of the sharpies are scoring using heavy bucktails but there is keepers there. Cut bait should work in the usual areas but staying around the east end will increase the odds. This time of year fish can show up at any time of the day and some days schools go through on the west flowing tides. Its just a matter of "right time at the right place".
