I know where they were too. You are right, it doesn't seem right but I also know that around here, when someone brings in a cow bass to a tackle shop, they all say it is from the canal even if it came from a beach. The canal is huge, many spots.
Most people know there are bass to be caught in the canal also. Most people know there are bass to be caught at the Vineyard also.
You have a point, if he wants the TV exposure he should keep quiet about where they are and not lie about it but that is what fishermen do I guess, or pay the price, but that price will be at others expense too.
