location, date, weather, moon rise/set, wind, surf conditions, water temp, tides, times/places fished, fish caught/times caught/tide stage/technique used, other places fished with no success, and finally an area called notes. I'll write any additional info here and take note of how friends are doing in other areas at the time.

I think its really important to take note of the exact conditions when a quality fish is taken. I've also learned a lot by sharing info with others, and write their suggestions in my log.

Its crazy to see that in many spots, the same small window of tide, wind and moon stage always produces 40#+ fish throughout the years.
