Heck when I started there were no 'puters, we didn't even have pocket calculators, took my SAT with a slide rule. If ya wanted to learn the surf then you had to be there, or the tackle shop with your ears open and your mouth shut. If you asked a question, you were lied to, or misled. The internet has changed all that, you can learn years of theory in weeks, but the practical is still gotten at the water's edge. Where would I be without these sites? I'd be short a couple dozen good friends, a plug building/hoing addiction, and a happier life.
