Lami alternative??

I am looking for new spinning combos and was wondering if someone knows if there is a cheaper version of the Arra 1322 and the Arra 1205.

I like the 1322 for plugging and the 1205 for an all around rod. I am looking to drop some cash at the MSBA show and thiiking of saving a little cash by not buying the Lamis. Let me know what everyone thinks.

Thanks!

I think you could replace the 1205 with an Allstar 1208 and be fairly good. Maybe not quite as good at the highest loads but fatser action.

For the 1322 that's a little harder. Closest i can think of would be an Allstar 1267 but its not really as good although much less money.

An alternative to the Arra 1322 would be the Allstar/Batson 1387. I owned the Arra but sold it to a friend. I plug with a Purglas 350-2 and the 1387. The 1387 is rated 2-6 oz but I don't throw anything over 4 on it. Anything over 4, I use the Purglas.

For 10 footers the Allstar 1208 is a nice rod and the American Tackle Patriot 1209 would fit in there as well. They are similar but the American Tackle 1209 seems more moderate in action than the Allstar. At least the one I have is.
