I remember a time when the savy basssman would get by on things he made like a pair of korkers hand made out of leather or buyin the rubber boots so a guy at the shoe place could install grommets to take spikes. It was more interesting to make ur own an save money.nowadays its all about how much u can spend.its crazy out of control insane.I cut braid wit a .99 cent pair of nailclippers on a pice of string around my neck wit my truck key.I sometimes have pliers 5.95 stuffed inside my bag.oil treats them fine.I see these guys allthe time when I fish in the daytime.they got so much stuff hangin off em a pack mule would get tired.if u where to lay it all out u couldn't touch their gear wit 3000 dollars.God bless em.

Yeh - I like my $2 OSJ pliers but I did learn from last year and will always have something with me that can cut a hook. Also $2 from OSJ. I was looking at that Gerber Fish 600 Multitool and it is interesting. NIB, I like the key around neck idea but I would lose it if attached to my CVS clippers on my DRS neck lanyard that is no longer tangles on a neck light since getting the red LED head thingy.

Hesh - interesting to know about the Brownings was thinking about checking out a pair...

But .99 cent scissors don't look as cool on your belt and besides, what do you buy for someone who literally has everything.
